Micronisers produces a range of nucleating agents suitable for most applications. Prifer 3881 Zinc Glycerolate and Prifer 3888 Nano sized Zinc Glycerolate produced by a patented process are high performance nucleating agents that give enhanced physical and clarifying properties to polypropylene.

Microstat 06 (Aluminium Para Tertiary Butyl Benzoate), Microstat 16 (Sodium Benzoate) and Microstat 38 (Lithium Benzoate) are also available.

Applications

Polypropylene has many applications. Thin wall moulding products eg, kitchen ware, food containers, drink bottles, garden furniture, washing machine components, automotive parts, etc, is however a major segment.

The use of polypropylene for these applications requires improvement in impact strength, stiffness, heat resistance and fast injection moulding cycle times which are all achievable due to higher crystallisation temperatures obtained when using high quality nucleating agents.

This improvement in the physical qualities of polypropylene can be achieved by using Micronisers nucleating agents.
