Brief

Micronisers Pty Ltd is a company specialising in advanced milling and chemical processes to produce products at the molecular level. Nano-sized and Sub Micron particles can be further encapsulated or coated to achieve added functionality. These highly specialised products are used in the plastics, personal care, textile, coatings, veterinarian and pharmaceutical industries.

Micronisers also provides excellent production facilities and technical support for customers wishing to have proprietary products manufactured to specific requirements for particle size, distribution and encapsulation.

History

Micronisers Pty Ltd was founded in 1987 with significant success in the production of a range of nucleating agents for polypropylene. This success allowed for investment in a range of milling equipment that later developed into business in the field of contract milling. Micronisers was now working with wide range of powders from a vast array of industries ranging through Veterinarian, Pharmaceutical, Industrial and personal care.

Following on from this was an extensive R&D program that was funded by large government grants. Working with the CSIRO, Micronisers conducted many years of research into nanoparticles. This subsequently led onto Micronisers developed in house patented products which involved encapsulation, coating and milling. Micronisers is currently a world leader in nano technology and still works closely with the CSIRO in new product development.
