Microstat 16 Sodium Benzoate
Microstat™ 16 is a nucleating agent for use in thermoplastic masterbatch and compounding to increase the rate of crystal growth and causes it to occur at higher temperatures compared to not using an additive. This means finished parts made from Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and Polyethylene (PE) and can be removed from moulds at higher temperatures and as a result output is increased and cycle times reduced with improved impact strength.

- Typical Bulk Density: 0.15 g/cc
- Crystal Structure: Hexagonal platelets
- Purity (Sodium Benzoate): Greater than 99.5 %
- Mean Particle Size: Greater than 90.0 % below 10 micron
Product is available in pack sizes of 10 kg boxes and 125 kg flexible intermediate bulky bags.
